Super Flat is an artistic idea that proposed by Takashi Murakami. It believes that the world of the future might be like Japan is today – Super Flat. The superior and inferior cultures will finally meet, flatten on the same layer.
The superior and inferior cultures will eventually merge into one layer and will be presented together simultaneously. The name of this project comes from one of the Super Flat artists – Chiho Aoshima's painting. Meaning the future is coming, and it's coming friendly.
