Expo
Electronic Entertainment Expo is one of the largest video game events which many developers, publishers, and players.
The history of video games goes as far back as the early 1950s when academic computer scientists began designing simple games and simulations as part of their research or just for recreation. Nowadays, everyone has access to video games. It is a strong, young, and fast-growing culture. Video games are a medium of the medium. Composers create soundtracks and effects, artists create 2D images and 3D models, writers draft story arcs and dialogue, and programmers choreograph all the moving pieces into a seamless world. In order to convey and that express that inclusiveness, I referenced the form of Punched Card Code, which programmers used to use it to create early video games. The color was inspired by the hyper RGB culture in the gamer communities.
The new visual identity can not only be entertaining, but also it can express and celebrate the history and the pride of video games.

The visual draws inspiration from the shape of Punched Card, which programmers use it to code in the early days. By using the Punched Card grid and connect the dots, the brand introduces the unitary, welcoming, and playful culture of the video game industry while also being informative and educational about the history of the video game at the same time.
